The Role

The Justice Initiative at Grace Farms Foundation champions the core beliefs that each individual has an inherent right to liberty and that it is incumbent upon each of us to use our will and wherewithal to ensure freedom for all. With Grace Farms as our nexus for convening the public, private, and government sectors, we develop comprehensive strategies and partnerships that are designed to disrupt and combat all forms of contemporary slavery and gender-based violence.

We pursue this mission through tangible strategies centered on policy, training, and global advocacy. Your work will further these goals through the collection, synthesis, and analytical reporting on data and trends that will inform and shape the impact of the Justice Initiative.

 Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Actively research and synthesize raw data from law enforcement agencies, qualitative and quantitative open source data, industry trend reports, and all subject matter related to Foundation trainings, programs, and strategic goals
  • Proactively follow current and world affairs that might impact the Justice Initiatives goals and strategies and surface findings to the Justice team
  • Actively seek out new data sources and build relationships with coalition partners
  • Produce clearly written and effective reports, bulletins, data visualizations, executive summaries, and other analytical products proactively and as required
  • Collect and report program impact statistics, particularly for donor funding or grant compliance reporting
  • Create proper data storage infrastructure

 Qualifications and Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of experience specifically conducting data analysis in the humanitarian, law enforcement, and/or government sectors
  • Advanced analytical and research skills with a track record of working with multiple sources of data, including open source data, and synthesizing a high volume of data on deadline
  • Experience with both quantitative and qualitative data set collection, integration, management, and analysis
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with an emphasis on editing and report writing skills
  • Experience with data visualization programs (Tableau, etc.)
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software
  • Fluency in multiple languages a plus

Grace Farms encompasses 80 acres of open space, with an architecturally significant building and has won 12 awards for architecture, sustainability, and social good. Grace Farms is accessible and free to the public six days a week, with meaningful program offerings, recreational spaces for all ages, publicly available art, walking trails, gathering spaces, a library, and a state-of-the art indoor amphitheater.
